Daniel James is an award-winning composer best known for his work on Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain. His unique scores are the culmination of integrating musical sound design into a compositional sound and have featured in movies such as Terminator Genisys, Ride Along 2, Truth Or Dare as well as Proximity and Ballistic.

Daniel won the “Best Score and Soundtrack” at The Game Awards in Los Angeles in 2015 for his work on Metal Gear V and was also BAFTA nominated for “Audio Achievement”.

Alongside the above mentioned projects Daniel has also composed music for both Call of Duty Black Ops 3 and 4, Killer Instinct and Mass Effect 3. It was in his work on Mass Effect 3 that he pioneered the sound of hybrid production, which resulted in his setting up the HybridTwo commercial sample library.
